For many Red Raiders fans, their dog is part of the family, and game day is no exception. Matching your Texas Tech jersey with your pup’s team apparel creates adorable photo opportunities and lets the whole family join in on game day fun. More and more pet-loving fans buy texas tech jersey styles for themselves and then pick up matching pet bandanas, shirts, or tiny jerseys so their four-legged friend can cheer along too.

The key to a great matching pet-and-owner look is coordinating colors and keeping it simple. Stick to one main jersey color for you and match your pet’s gear to that color. Red is the most popular choice, since it is classic and instantly recognizable as Texas Tech. Wear your favorite player jersey, like the Thomas Castellanos Red Raiders Jersey, and put a red team bandana or small dog jersey on your pup for an instantly coordinated pair. The Quinten Joyner Red Raiders Jersey also makes a great human centerpiece for pet matching photos, especially with its bold number 0 design that stands out in pictures.

Black is another fun matching theme for night games and sleek game day photos. Wear a black player jersey like the Micah Hudson Red Raiders Jersey and pair it with a black bandana for your dog for a modern, coordinated look. Defensive fans love doing this theme with the Kenny Johnson Red Raiders Jersey, creating a tough defensive duo vibe with their pup. These matching outfits are always a hit at tailgates, dog parks, and social media posts.

When shopping for pet game day gear, always prioritize your pet’s comfort. Look for soft, breathable fabrics, adjustable fits, and designs that do not restrict movement. Bandanas are usually the most comfortable option for most dogs, since they are lightweight and easy to take on and off. Tiny dog jerseys are adorable for photos but make sure your dog tolerates wearing them before you take them to a busy game day environment. The Coy Eakin Red Raiders Jersey and Malcolm Simmons Red Raiders Jersey both make great human pieces for pet matching because they have strong, graphic designs that read well in photos. At the end of the day, it is all about having fun and including every member of the family in game day celebrations.
