Responsibilities:
Position Purpose: Preparation, review, reporting and analysis of data to ensure accurate, complete and timely inventory valuations and related accounts for inclusion in financial statements and management reporting.
Work closely with Cost Accountant, Operations and Inventory Software Vendor: Monitor/review daily system inventory reports, ensuring timely investigation and resolution of unusual/non-standard lot movements between processes or locations. Requires understanding of relationships between inventory movement and transactions.
Review and monitoring of Yield Reports, alerting Finance to variances in the production process.
Review, monitor and reconcile Master Cost File that supports inventory costing.
Initiate changes and improvements in process to obtain required information. (General Ledger financial transactions are downloaded into a Master Cost File. Cost data is manipulated in such file to allow analysis of costs by process and lot).
Reconcile and analyze inventory balance sheet and cost accounts to cost data. This includes the Master Cost File, ChipTrac and product outside the manufacturing software. Prepare and maintain concise and clear documentation.
Coordinate physical inventories and local inventory counts.
Qualifications:
Full cycle cost accounting expertise
Responsible for development of Product Standard Costing
Manufacturing variance analysis
Inventory tracking and valuation
Physical Inventory audits
Experience in Flux analysis, roll forwards, revenue cycle, financial statements
Strong computer skills and proficient with Excel including pivot tables and v lookups
Solid understanding of data manipulation and reconciliation process
Meticulous with details and performs at a high degree of accuracy
Self-starter, proactive, organized and ability to work independently
Effectively communicate with all levels of management
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance with at least 5 years’ business experience
Prior experience with a manufacturing software
Experience with Scalar Soft ChipTrac Manufacturing a plus
Prior experience in semiconductor manufacturing process
