The incumbent is to operate and monitor commonly used equipment to perform routine positioning and imaging exams on Veteran, Active Duty, and tri-care beneficiary patients. Images are processed digitally and require the Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (DRT) to assess the quality of the images prior to releasing them to the Radiologist through the picture archiving system (PACS) software. The exams are performed in the 673rd Medical Group Radiology Service.
