HAL Offshore Limited, earlier known as Himachal Alkalies Limited, forayed into Offshore Logistics Segment of Oil Exploration & Production vertical in 1998 with the bagging of prestigious contract of Operation and Management of ONGC owned Multi Support Vessel Samudra Suraksha and Samudra Prabha. The contract was executed to the satisfaction of ONGC, and thus started a journey which over a period of time has seen many first to its credit. From a humble beginning in 1998 as an “Aggregator” of resources, HAL today is one of the leading players in two distinct vertical of Oilfield Logistic and Construction Segment– Logistic Service provides high end DP II Diving Support Vessel to carry out Inspection, Maintenance and Repair (IMR) Program; and Construction segment provides brownfield modification of facilities on Process Platforms and unmanned Platforms. Today, HAL is a veritable one-stop shop for providing Offshore Logistics and Construction Solutions.
