Chemprojects Consulting Pvt. Ltd. (Chemprojects) is a multi disciplinary engineering consultancy company being in business since 1974. Chemprojects specializes in pulp & paper, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food industry and waste treatment projects. One unique feature of Chemprojects is that it has the competence and experience to carry out forestry assessment studies, market surveys etc. apart from engineering design work.
Chemprojects is founded by Dr. S.L. Keswani who is also the Managing Director. He has a Doctorate in Paper Technology from Darmstadt, Germany, and he has been associated with several companies abroad such as O Doerries AG Dueren , a subsidiary company of J.M. Voith gmbH, Heidenheim , Thessalian Pulp and Paper Mill, Greece and Maurer SA Berne , Switzerland. As head of the development division at Doerries he was actively involved in development of Deinking process in association with J.M. Voith and undertook practical trials at Meyer Melnhof , Neu Graz(Austria) and Karton Fabric , Deiswill near Berne (Switzerland).
