St. Laurn is the name of a well in western Normandy, France. Believed to be a wishing well, it stood as a symbol of prosperity in the medieval ages. It was said that those who have faith can prosper by letting their wish known to the well by tossing a coin into its depth. It was later destroyed in an earthquake. Now it exists only in legend as the exact location of where the well stood is not known.
