Denise Wrathall RGN Founder and Managing Director Denise started access2education with the objective of delivering high quality training that would meet the needs of primary care professionals in an increasingly demanding environment. Denise trained as a nurse and then a midwife before working in the pharmaceutical industry, where she specialized in vaccines. This combination gave her a real awareness of the challenges that primary care professionals face on a daily basis. This insight has been enhanced as since starting access2education she has retrained as a nurse. Karen Shearman MA FCA Head of Operations Karen joined access2education in 2016 . Karen is a qualified accountant who has spent the majority of her career in the financial services sector. She has always had a real interest in medicine and is relishing the opportunity to learn more through working in this new environment. Karen was brought into access2education to improve the operational effectiveness of the company as it grows and will also be seen administering study days on a regular basis. Ian Wrathall BSc MBA Director Ian has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for majority of his career. Most recently in the area of market access, which is a discipline that demands a significant understanding of the NHS environment. This understanding helps access2education produce training and programmes that fit the needs of todays NHS. Ian’s main focus is the commercial development of access2education. To maintain his level of knowledge, Ian will continue to lead projects within the pharmaceutical industry and the NHS.
